Marketing to Women Week Participants Will Seed Hyper-Local Women’s News Sites to Kick Off Small Business Saturday®
WomenPartner.org is reducing the hyper-local news concept down to one topic, women owned businesses, and weaving it into a platform that covers local women’s markets on 6 continents so that businesswomen can identify new business opportunities and partnerships. City Pages developed by Marketing to Women Week participants will lay the foundation for the hyper-local news sites that have the look and feel of WomenPartner.org.

The pages will offer participants the opportunity to provide a snapshot of how to market to women in their city and or metro area using the resources already in place instead of reinventing the wheel. City Pages will be enhanced with their business profile, banner or logo, social networking URLs, video, podcast and more to showcase their expertise. The contents of the City Page along with the banner (visible on every page), sponsored listings, and social media RSS feeds will be transferred over to the news site and expanded upon to cover everything from profiles of women owned companies, business openings, conferences, partnerships, job advancements, creative marketing strategies, business organizations, and more. The news site and City Page will be in place in time for Small Business Saturday®. It’s a $600 annual value.
If you haven’t registered yet for Marketing to Women Week (September 17 – 21), sign up before your state or Province is taken. WomenPartner.org is looking for two women per state / Province to take part. Participants will partner with a complementary local woman owned brick & mortar company to develop a joint Word of Mouth community driven campaign for Small Business Saturday® 2012 (November 24) to ensure their businesses stand out from the crowd on this fabulous business holiday. Together they will provide women in their community with a unique Small Business Saturday® experience while boosting their revenue.
