You’re Amazing! – Just the Way You Are!

Calling all AMAZING YOUNG WOMEN!

This summer there’s an alternative on offer in the North West of England to do something different with your time.  Hang out with other ‘Amazing Young Women’ at a series of workshops focused on helping you feel good about yourself, your bodies, your style (especially if you stand out from the crowd!); and understand how the media influences your sense of self and self-confidence. You’ll make a video project with the help of an Amazing Woman photographer, explore inner and outer beauty with Amazing Women facilitators, then with the help of an Amazing Woman from The Body Shop, explore ‘looks’ and ‘image’ making use of media to create a short film to be showcased at a celebration event, then launched on line. And more!

Help shape an ongoing campaign programme of support and awareness-raising to remind other Amazing Young Women that you’re OK – “Just The Way You Are”. And when the workshops are over, go out and interview for our “Real Role Models – Real Women” campaign that we’re launching here at “You’re Amazing” in the UK.

We’re known as an inspirational organisation working with “Amazing Young Women” 13 to 18yrs, and “Amazing Women” of all other ages. We work with passion to make a difference for all women in two ways: our not-for-profit work supports marginalised ‘hard-to-reach’ young women and women with lives complicated by multiple ‘labels’ and complex needs to achieve positive results through positive actions and positive regard.

In our corporate work, we mobilise our experiences as senior women in corporate and public sector industries, and our skills as coaches, facilitators, and business professionals to help women professionals who also have complex but different needs, and who appreciate robust, proven, and effective support to achieve success in their lives.
