Women’s Business Cluster

WomenPartner.org is Helping Businesswomen Flex Their Economic Muscles

Helping business and professional women cluster is one of the main components of WomenPartner.org’s Main Street Marketing to Women Initiative.  According to Wikipedia, a business cluster is a geographic concentration of interconnected businesses, suppliers, and associated institutions in a particular field. Clusters are considered to increase the productivity with which companies can compete, nationally and globally.  More than single industries, clusters encompass an array of linked industries and other entities important to competition.

Studies have shown that, on average, businesses located in a cluster have a stronger growth and survival rate than a company that sets up shop further away.   The best known example of a business cluster is Silicon Valley.  The prestige, creativity, profitable competition, and job creation produced by Silicon Valley is simply phenomenal.

With Main Street America looking to the Internet for new clients and navigating the social media maze, they can cut through all of the clutter by simply forming collaborative business relationships with savvy online business and professional women to find creative ways to market to the women’s business market.

The online women in business community can equally benefit from collaborating with Main Street America by having physical locations to place their virtual kiosks to service brick and mortar customers as well as take advantage of overflow work caused by their staff reduction.  Additional benefit details
