Testimonial from Romaine McKibbens, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Atlanta GA
JOC

I attended my first JOC meeting in October 2011. Prior, I had never heard of this unique way to network with sharp, savvy, independent and professional business women. Networking with these ladies over a delicious meal, great conversation in a warm and welcoming environment was very new and exciting to me. Having the opportunity to share my company and the service I provide in a 3 minute spotlight was one of the many benefits that sets JOC apart from other networking events.

As a result of attending JOC networking meetings, I have gained 7 new insurance clients and have been introduced to many other products and services that without the JOC, I would not have been exposed to. In fact, I became a customer of 6 of the business I was introduced to. I have built wonderful business relationships and made wonderful connections with fabulous women. I now look to the JOC networking events being a resource for my customer growth and have added this venue to my monthly marketing schedule and budget.

Thank You, Bonnie, for your vision and keen insight on what it takes for women to grow their business and connect both professionally and personally, in a “woman’s kind of way”. — January 2012

The Latina Joy of Connecting

Elayna FernandezWhile The Joy of Connecting is a very diverse community with women of a wide variety of backgrounds and businesses, it became evident a few years ago that we had been unsuccessful in engaging the Latina women to strengthen our community with the richness of hers.  So, in 2009, www.TheLatinaJoyofConnecting.com was launched as a way to further enrich our sisterhood.  We are actively looking to not only reach out to Latina business women, but also have chapters throughout our organization that can be offered in both English and Spanish.  Elayna Fernandez is part of The JOC Team and on board to guide this valuable part of our strategic plan.  We would love to receive applications from Latina women who are serious about building their business and interested in aligning with us!   Please reach our LJOC coordinator, Elayna Fernandez, for more information.  elayna@positivemom.org
